CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS. do what you will, like what you want, but i am NOT here for abusive relationships, dub-con or rape, & i never will be. although grimmjow isn't one to put up with any kind of abusive relationship. overall toxic relationships are still up for discussion—but straight-up abuse plots are not.

006. SHIPPING. i do not romantically ship grimmjow with nelliel. in his main canon verse, nel / @sacrifizion and grimmjow regard each other as SIBLINGS. however, we are not exclusive. interaction with other nels will simply reflect canon.

DO NOT force romantic ships on me. do not drop hints that you want a romantic ship. just ask me. if i say no, it means no. if i say yes, it means yes. very simple stuff, my friends. i’m pretty new to ships when it comes to grimmjow, but I'll admit, i have a huge soft spot for grimmichi. aside from grimmichi, i’ve only ever seen him as strictly single. i’m willing to plot romantic ships but i seriously can’t say it’ll be easy with him.

chemistry is a huge thing when it comes to shipping with me, so having the patience to see how things unfold is your best bet at maybe gaining his attention. also, no offense, but please don’t think your muse can change him, either. grimmjow is still a hollow, and he’s a rude, suspicious bastard in practically every other verse.

grimmjow is a prickly thing. he’s got a bit of a soft side, but he’d sooner eat his whole hand than allow others to see that.

007. EXCLUSIVITY / MAINS. not into the idea of private cliques / controlled interactions. i've had bad experiences. i just want to write and make friends if at all possible. i take mains but the speed in which i reply to them isn't affected.

DUPLICATES / PLAGIARISM. i welcome ALL duplicates. i'm up for any kind of twin / duplicate verse, anytime!! this is a given but PLEASE do not take any aspects of my portrayal; do not use me as inspiration; do not use me as a template. this 'imitation' isn't flattery; it's DISRESPECT. my portrayal of grimmjow is heavily headcanon-based, so if i spot one too many strange "similarities", i will out you & block you. there is no excuse i will accept. i never want to deal with something as soul-crushing as plagiarism again.

be proud of your own work. not someone else's. otherwise what's the point?

009. GENERAL MEDICAL ISSUES. i am autistic, physically disabled & visually impaired; i suffer from a CNS disease, anxiety, ADD, & depression. I AM FULLY DIAGNOSED. i’m slow & i won’t reply to everything on time. although maladaptive perfectionism is often considered a subtle form of OCD, it is aggressive in my case. if it isn’t my eyes slowing me down, it’s this, on top of IRL.

grimmjow appears to be a laid-back and irreverent individual at first glance, but this scruffy exterior hides a BRUTAL, IMPULSIVE, excessively-violent personality and a LETHALLY-SHORT TEMPER. grimmjow is BLUNT, SARCASTIC, and rather sadistic, revealing a psychotic grin whenever he becomes excited. he displays little respect for authority and says whatever is on his mind, regardless of whether or not it is appropriate. he has conflicts with ulquiorra cifer, the 4th espada, usually because ulquiorra interrupts his battles or otherwise clashes with grimmjow's ideals, and confidently believes ulquiorra's powers to be weaker than his, a point he is eager to prove.

he develops an additional grudge against kurosaki ichigo for wounding him during their first and second fights, and is eager to return the favor. he intentionally kept the large scar on his chest from their first battle as a reminder. grimmjow is also infuriated by ichigo's belief that he can defeat him regardless of how badly he is injured, which grimmjow sees as ichigo looking down on him.

GRIMMJOW IS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. he uses no honorifics in the japanese language, except when addressing aizen ( though he is quick to discard the formality when aizen is not around ), and refers to inoue orihime as woman in conversation.

however, he does have some form of a code of honor, as he is UNWILLING to fight an injured kurosaki ichigo, bringing orihime to heal him beforehand so that their battle will be a fair one. he wants to defeat ichigo when he is at full strength.

at one point, grimmjow saves orihime from loly aivirrne and menoly mallia, who had attacked her, to repay the debt of restoring his arm. however, he immediately demands another favor afterwards. despite his aggression and obvious blood-lust in battle, he possesses a FERAL CUNNING and has a knack for quickly exploiting any opening his opponent reveals.

HISTORY

before grimmjow became an arrancar, he was a panther-like adjuchas-class menos. at one point, he came across a group of adjuchas-class menos that included shawlong koufang, edrad liones, yylfordt granz, nakeem grindina, and di roy rinker. di roy decided to eat him, but before di roy could act, grimmjow attacked and ate a chunk of di roy's head.

impressed at his strength, they introduced themselves. their leader, shawlong, asked that grimmjow join them, and the group bowed to him. shawlong then explained that they have no intention of remaining adjuchas or gillians, vowing to become vasto lorde, but in order to do that they needed strength that they may use to pull themselves up. they had seen that strength in grimmjow. shawlong asked that grimmjow lead them as their king.

sometime later, shawlong told grimmjow that the group has given up. yylfordt explained that they have given up in their quest to evolve into vasto lorde. they had eaten over one thousand hollows and haven't felt their power increase. as of that day, they had eaten three thousand. continuing on would be pointless.

grimmjow told them that if they wanted to give up then it was fine, but he would have nothing to do with it. shawlong then asked grimmjow if he would eat them, and noted that since grimmjow had already taken a piece of di roy, he would never evolve into a vasto lorde. in conjunction, their evolution would end where it was at as well. grimmjow called them cowards, but shawlong interrupted him and explained that they have become enlightened. it was not only to the fact that they would never become vasto lorde, but it was something they knew even before becoming hollows. they knew that they would always only be adjuchas and that grimmjow would have been the only one to evolve beyond that stage.
